Our Values

At Wakari School we promote our values of

Honesty, Manners, Respect, Cooperation & Kindness.

As a Family orientated school we promote and encourage parental involvement. This assistance is vital for the children’s education during their time with us. School Camps, trips, swimming and School Fairs would simply not be possible without the assistance that Whanau offer. Our school has a proud tradition of community involvement stretching back to 1858!

Our Vision and Aims

IMPORTANT: Busy Bumbles Holiday Programme
20 Jun 2024

Currently, the number of children booked into the Term 2 Holiday Programme at Wakari School is extremely low. Each day of the programme has only 2 - 4 children booked in. A programme with such low numbers would not be enjoyable for the children so we will not be able to proceed unless we receive a significant number of bookings very soon.

If you are thinking of booking your children into the Term 2 Holiday Programme at Wakari, please do so by the end of this week. Remember, children from all schools are welcome to attend any of our holiday programmes so, bring your friends along! See picture for programme details.

We will make a decision on the future of the Wakari programme early next week. If the programme does not proceed, any existing bookings can be transferred to our Fairfield venue or removed free of charge.

Here is the booking link for the Term 2 Holiday Programme at Wakari School, for your convenience:

Busy Bumbles is committed to providing enjoyable and stimulating care for the children of Dunedin and we will be incredibly disappointed if we cannot proceed with our programme at Wakari School during the upcoming holidays.
